Out Videos
Inside Out videos are available for each level of the
course: Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced. The videos
are accompanied by Video Teacher’s Books.
The Videos The videos provide innovative and stimulating
material that will develop students’ language skills and
expand their lexical knowledge. They are specifically designed
to support the Inside Out course, so each video unit
is closely linked to a corresponding unit in the Student’s
Book. There is a huge range of exciting material on the
videos, including a pop video from Madness, a documentary on
Stephen Hawking, a young person’s guide to London’s
West End, a traditional English folktale and an interview in
an internationally famous model agency.
Video Teacher’s Books
The accompanying Teacher’s Books contain everything
you need to fully exploit the videos. Two photocopiable
worksheets are provided for each video unit. These worksheets
are designed to practise and develop students’ language
skills (primarily listening and speaking) and also to expand
their lexicial knowledge by focusing on key vocabulary from
the video. The worksheets provide core material for a 45-minute
video lesson, with the option to extend the lesson with extra
communicative tasks. The teacher’s notes
contain clear teaching instructions and a full answer key, as
well as suggestions on when to use the video with the Inside
Out course. A key feature of the teacher’s notes is
the background information section which provides useful and
interesting information about cultural aspects of the video
unit. The tapescript of the video is presented on a separate
page so that it can be easily photocopied for students.
