Lindsay
Clandfield
After
finishing his degree in International Relations at the University
of Toronto Lindsay worked as a volunteer in a refugee camp
in Croatia in 1994 and with the UN High Commission for Refugees
in Guatemala in 1995. He became an ESL teacher in 1996 and
taught for two years at the University of Chiapas in southern
Mexico. He came to Barcelona in 1999 and still lives there
with his wife and baby son. He divides his time between teaching,
teacher training and materials writing. He is interested in
Global Issues in ESL and the role of English as an International
Language. He writes the American English vocabulary lessons
for OneStopEnglish and began writing for us by entering the
lesson share competition.
