Educational services

Excellent teacher training is the backbone of education. We believe that support for teachers is fundamental to the success of any print or online product, and almost to the development of a country's educational system. This is especially true when teaching systems change, and many teachers are new to the materials and teaching techniques. Our network of teacher trainers are active throughout the year speaking at Macmillan Education conferences and events, and many of our authors speak regularly at international conferences.

Macmillan Education's teaching training programmes offer far more than just supporting our materials. The highly-respected programmes in Spain, and Mexico have established themselves as core training programmes for local teachers and ministries of education.

Our training includes helping teachers to make the most of new technologies, and is always supported by online resources and magazines such as onestopenglish.com. We include demonstrations on 'how to use new technologies' such as digital packages like the Interactive Whiteboard materials on Inside Out.

Customisable print and online publishing is one of the specialisms of Macmillan Education. From the start of a project we bring together local experts, examiners and leaders in their field to develop bespoke educational materials that ensure local curriculum needs are fully met. Macmillan Education works hand in hand with Ministries of Education, NGOs and exam boards to create local editions with the first-rate production values you’d expect from an international publisher.

Macmillan Production (Asia) Ltd (MPAL) is the Pacific Rim print and paper-buying company of the Macmillan Publishing Group. MPAL has been managing the production of books cost-effectively in South East Asia and shipping them to a range of publishing companies in the USA, UK, Europe, Australasia, Africa and Latin America for over 30 years. Products handled by MPAL range from straightforward black and white paperbacks, through case-bound colour books to complicated kits and children's games.

Our training includes helping teachers to make the most of new technologies, and is always supported by online resources and magazines such as onestopenglish.com.
