Macmillan English Campus (MEC)
Alongside the well-respected
onestopenglish.com, our elearning programme is driven by our award-winning platform Macmillan English Campus. MEC is an online practice environment for learners of English as a foreign language. It consists of a flexible database of over 4,200 highly interactive language activities, developed by Macmillan's leading ELT authors. Macmillan English Campus allows institutions to map Macmillan’s online resources to their own course materials. This means that MEC users enjoy the best of both worlds: they continue to receive crucial face-to-face tuition, combined with online study within a controlled learning environment.

Macmillan Practice Online launched in 2008 and has already brought language learning to life for thousands of students. With the cutting-edge MEC technology driving it, these web-based interactive courses will suit all language learners.

Digital publishing
Because we are committed to being at the forefront of technical advances, we have a whole team dedicated to digital products. The
Digital Publishing Unit, based in Oxford, is a special department set up to develop digital resources to complement learning at any level. Many of our courses, both curriculum and ELT, have fully integrated digital products, such as Interactive Whiteboard materials.

eBooks
Both digital books and ebooks are becoming familiar items in the Macmillan Education catalogue. In Spain,
Macmillan Iberia has started supplying digital coursebooks alongside the print component of their primary series. Macmillan Education has adopted the platform Bookstore as their ebook supplier, with a range of ebooks available from the methodology and Macmillan Readers series.

It is of course important to recognise the digitalisation of some aspects of our supply chain. Macmillan Education Australia has recognised that customers want a choice of delivery at the bookshop and act as a digital supplier for one of the leading book chains.
