English Language Teachers are invited to join Macmillan Education’s free online ELT conference offering teacher development training for the primary, (young) adult and methodology markets.
The annual Macmillan Online Conference, held from Monday 5th to Friday 9th November, provides interactive teacher development webinars for ELT teachers worldwide. Run by experienced teacher trainers and authors renowned in their field, the interactive webinars offer professional development as well as the opportunity to ask questions and share best practice.
The Macmillan Online Conference is now in its second year and has expanded from two to four training days due to popular demand and positive feedback from both experienced and aspiring teachers:
I am really impressed with the technology - it is great to take part in a seminar sitting in your own armchair. I am looking forward to the next one.
Thank you very much to both Macmillan and speaker. It was a big pleasure to take part in a webinar. What a fantastic invention […] I am looking forward to the next one.
Joining the online conference is straightforward and training is accessible to everyone, least of all because it is free. Teachers can access each online seminar from the comfort of their own sofa and all participants receive a certificate of attendance. Recordings of the online workshops are available afterwards via the Macmillan Online Conference webpage www.macmillanenglish.com/MOC2012
This year’s conference boasts webinars by several big names in the ELT industry, including Adrian Underhill holding a session on “Pronunciation: The Cinderella of ELT”, Carol Read, teaching on “Creativity through story and drama” and Miles Craven with “Effective Scaffolding – Two practical techniques”, amongst others. The full schedule can be viewed on our Macmillan Online Conference webpage: www.macmillanenglish.com/MOC2012
