Educational partnerships

Macmillan works closely with Ministries of Education to develop appropriate teaching and learning materials for individual countries. Publishing projects are authored and advised by local experts either chosen by Macmillan, or proposed by Ministries for their knowledge of the local curriculum and teacher's needs. Macmillan then provides editorial support throughout the writing process through training and workshops, and supplies production expertise for local publishing.

In recent years, Macmillan has won publishing tenders in Armenia, Bahrain, Egypt, Jamaica, Liberia, Malawi, Palestine and Saudi Arabia amongst many more.

Influential partnerships
The partnerships we build locally are a crucial part of the reason that Macmillan has been so successful in many regions.
An important example of this is the relationship we have with AELTA the Middle East Professional Development Center in Riyadh with whom we enjoy a successful collaboration of teacher training, professional development as well as assistance in the development of the language curriculum and materials for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
