Innovation is a word that is often used to describe Macmillan Education's publishing. We pride ourselves on creating unique materials with valuable learning aims and in recent years Macmillan Education materials have been setting the industry standard by winning some of the top awards.

Some of the recent successes have been the following:

Across Africa, Macmillan Education has been acknowledged as a leader in its field. From the Zambia Arts Council Ngoma Awards, to the National Arts Merit Awards in Zimbabwe, Macmillan titles have been highly praised by industry experts and teachers.

Macmillan Caribbean's books are regularly commended by educational specialists and governing bodies. In recent years, titles have been recognised at the prestigious Commonwealth Writers' Prize and First Book Award ceremonies, as well as by the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award.

In ELT publishing, Macmillan's publications frequently receive recognition at the annual British Council Innovation Awards. The Macmillan English Dictionary for Advanced Learners, Bugs, Campaign Military English and Macmillan English.

Recent award winners:

On Monday 31 August White Fang, a Macmillan Reader title, was awarded the top accolade in the ‘Adolescent and Adult – Elementary’ category in the Extensive Reading Foundation’s Language Learner Literature Awards 2009.
