The centre of much of Macmillan’s international publishing and sales operation lies in Oxford. The editorial, production, picture research and rights teams for our international ELT and curriculum lists are all based here. This is also true of the local publishing teams who develop products for Latin America, Africa, Caribbean, Spain, East Asia, and the Middle East. The editorial teams spend much of their time out in the markets, and liaise constantly with local teams in the field who are integral to delivering products that fit the needs of local syllabuses.

Oxford is also the home of the international sales and marketing operations. The central organisation allows an international perspective that a leading publisher of Macmillan Education's size needs in order to keep up with developments in education. It also allows us to support the huge number of local companies and representatives with customised publishing and marketing. We can work quickly when publishing opportunities arise, and can harness the company-wide resources to ensure that quality products arrive in our sales teams’ hands and on your local bookshelves.

The newest division to be based in Oxford is our Digital Publishing Unit. Formed in 2007, the digital team is developing exciting new content and product delivery to complement our print publishing.
